New tourism & hospitality job portal launches in Jordan to support employers in rebuilding the workforce
Ahlan.Jobs, a new online job platform dedicated to the tourism and hospitality industry in Jordan, has launched to give businesses a solution to showcase their opportunities and secure skilled talent.
The hospitality and tourism industry has faced one of its most challenging times over the past year and as Covid-19 restrictions begin to ease, there’s a significant demand for skilled talent.
To support businesses in rapidly rebuilding their workforce, Jordan Restaurant Association has introduced a new solution to help employers find the skilled staff they need, giving them access to a talent pool of job seekers dedicated to a career in the sector.
Developed by Kalamntina, supported by People 1st International and funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Ahlan.Jobs was launched at the Jordan Sector Skills Council in Tourism and Hospitality (SSC H&T) launch event on 06 July 2021.
Jane Rexworthy, Executive Director of People 1st International comments:
“Adding to the devastating impact that Covid-19 has had on the hospitality and tourism sector, businesses globally in our industry are reporting a severe shortage of staff. In an environment of even more complex business needs and emerging challenges, employers need to build a resilient, sustainable workforce. Ahlan.Jobs provides Jordan’s tourism and hospitality industry with a valuable hub for the future workforce.”
Connecting recruiting employers with talented individuals dedicated to a career in tourism and hospitality, the portal allows businesses to post vacancies and search the CV database, and provides job seekers with access to the latest jobs, careers advice and training opportunities to build a successful career.
Offering employers the exclusive opportunity to advertise their vacancies for free for a limited time, now is the time to register. Eliana Janineh, General Manager, Jordan Restaurant Association comments:
“We’re pleased to offer free vacancy posting for a limited time to all employers across the tourism and hospitality sector. We recognise the challenges facing businesses in our industry and want to do everything we can to attract skilled talent and help connect employers with the most motivated and passionate individuals seeking a career in the industry.”
