Sector Qualifications Strategy (SQS)
The Sector Qualifications Strategy (SQS) was a complete evaluation of all qualifications in our sector, which took place from July 2008 - June 2011.
It has been a critical part of the qualification reform programme for our industries, and has put qualifications in place that are needed and valued by employers. The strategy formed part of our wider qualifications reform programme, which is now progressing through our apprenticeship strategy and regular labour market research.
