24th Annual PATH Conference

PATHThe 24th Annual PATH Conference begins on 11 June 2009, and centres on "Investing in Talent For a Positive Future: The Role of Hospitality and Tourism Work Placements."

PATH (Placement Advisors for Tourism and Hospitality) is part of the Council for Hospitality Management Education. It is an organisation committed to improving the quality of the work placements in the hospitality, tourism and related industries. The annual conference attracts an international audience of employers, educators, placement advisors and those interested in work placement issues.

The conference offers an excellent means of accessing up-to-date information on managing placements, provides a forum to engage in topical debates on work-based learning and a unique opportunity to network with key placement providers. The conference this year will focus on the critical role of placement for workforce development, and in particular how to ensure continued investment in work placement in a challenging economy

  • Location: The Barceló Edinburgh Carlton Hotel - Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Price: £225 full delegate rate (includes1 night accommodation and breakfast , 2 days conference, 2 lunches, gala dinner and entertainment and Edinburgh walking tour. Early bird rate £200 if booked and paid for by April 24th)
