Our Vision

Our vision is for 'Nationally recognised excellence in hospitality training and education: trusted and valued by employers, learners and parents nationwide.'

We will develop a network of Academy Training Centres nationwide. Each Centre will serve a particular occupational or regional skills need. Regardless of their particular specialism, all will be recognised as offering excellent training.

Academy training programmes run by Academy providers - subject to rigorous quality assurance - will represent the highest currency across the sector.

When an Academy learner applies for a position in industry, that employer will be able to know he or she is recruiting a new member of staff with the practical and personal skills to make a contribution to the business from day one.

Our Academy has the support of leading industry employers including Sodexho, Intercontinental Hotels, Accor Hotels, MacDonald's Restaurants and many more. These forward thinking employers have pledged to work with Academy recognized colleges and other centres to ensure learner get the robust and stretching development activities they required.

They will offer a range of support to learner and tutors alike for example, by providing master classes in practical skills, offering coaching and mentoring support, advising on curriculum development, etc.

Over the next five years, our aim is to add 66,000 employment ready learners to the industry's pool of skilled, qualified people.
