College Accreditation

The first colleges to be granted National Skills Academy status for their excellence in the delivery of the Professional Cookery Diploma were announced at the PACE conference on the 2nd April 2009.

The Professional Cookery Diploma is employers' qualification of choice from those considering a college route and aspiring to be a professional chef - preferably at a college which has National Skills Academy for Hospitality status for its excellent delivery. The current accredited colleges are:

  • Newcastle College
  • Leeds City College
  • Trafford College
  • University College Birmingham
  • Westminster Kingsway College
  • City College Norwich
  • Colchester College
  • Bournemouth and Poole College
