We want your views!!
What's it all about?
To ensure we are truly employer-led, People1st has established a panel of employers who take part in a quarterly on-line survey.
The role of the panel is to:
- Give opinions on topical issues
- Give an indication of recruitment difficulties and skill shortages - Identify trends
- Comment on potential ‘solutions' to industry problems
The views of the panel are vitally important as they are used to help us ensure industry qualifications are meaningful for business; lobby national and regional government on issues ranging from work permits to training provision and provide us with regular data to identify trends.
Latest results
Our most recent survey (March 2008) looked at the effects of the credit crunch on employers, and at training in food safety.

Q & A
How does the panel work?
Each member of the panel will receive an e-mail every three months which will contain a link to the current survey and some background information. The link will take you directly to the survey, which on average will take 5 minutes to complete.
What's in it for me?
First and foremost, being a member of the panel will give you the opportunity to get your voice heard. You may not be a large employer or sit on influential groups so this is a great chance for you to tell us what you think.
In addition, all respondents will be entered into a prize draw!
Do I get to see the findings?
Yes. We will publish the key findings within two weeks of the end of the survey and they will be available to download from the People1st website.
How does the prize draw work?
All respondents will be entered into a prize draw (prizes will vary each quarter). The winner will be drawn at random and will be notified within 28 days.
