Apprenticeships are nationally designed work-based programmes, offering an important route at entry level for the sector.

People 1st is working with industry to ensure that Apprenticeships and Young Apprenticeships across our sector deliver the knowledge and skills needed by employers. This section of our site contains information and key documents for those involved in the programme.

We are also carrying out a review of apprenticeships in our sector to ensure that the programmes offer high quality learning and development and enable employers to benefit from a skilled, motivated and flexible workforce.
