Qualifications Rationalisation

There are too many courses that do not produce employees with the skills employers want. All qualifications must be fit for purpose and People 1st will work to identify which courses they are. Where there are gaps, People 1st will develop solutions, creating qualifications that meet the needs of the industry.

Best Practice - Nations & Regions

People 1st will work with governments, agencies and employers across the Regions and Nations to share best practice and innovation. Using a collaborative approach to growing skills and productivity, we work to ensure government funds are put to the best possible use.

Research

We carry out critical research into how the sector is today and what its needs will be in the future. This research is the foundation for ensuring that government funding is directed to provision which meets the needs of both employers and employees.

National Occupational Standards

These are developed with employers and provide the framework that all qualifications must be developed against, ensuring that qualifications are fit for industry needs.
